Alumni Spotlight: Nicole Boldt

In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we're catching up with alumna Nicole Boldt.

What are you doing now?

I am a Pastors wife and currently teach at Saint Francis Christina School. I teach math for 6th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.

How did APS prepare you for this role?

I had several teachers at AHS who demonstrated a love for teaching that helped to fuel my desire to be in the classroom.

What is your advice for current Packers?

Take advantage of the opportunities that are before you and don’t let fear be your decision maker. Look to help others succeed and appreciate the abilities they have that you can learn from.

Who at APS inspired you?

Mrs Wendt was my 6th grade homeroom teacher and she helped me to have a confidence that I didn’t have on my own. Mrs. Sever son was my math teacher at AHS and I loved how she loved the subject she taught!

Are you an alumnus of Austin Public Schools?  If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We're excited to hear about your accomplishments and are eager to share your successes and advice with our current students, families, and the Austin community. Please take a few minutes to complete the quick questionnaire at https://www.austin.k12.mn.us/district-resources/alumni-spotlight regarding your current position and your career trajectory.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing all your wonderful stories!
